MEETINGS, EVENTS AND SOCIALIZING

GENERAL MEETINGS

NEW IN 2008
Every 3rd Thursday of each month parents of multiples from all over Hillsborough and Pasco counties gather together for a general meeting, socializing, relaxing, eating, and sharing stories of our little bundles of joy.  We open the floor after all the club business is finished to parents who want to discuss and receive advice on specific issues they are facing with raising their multiples.  The monthly general meetings are held at University Community Hospital Banquet Room off of the main cafeteria.  The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  For more information, contact the Memberhship Chair
.

PLANNING MEETINGS

Planning meetings for our excutive board are open to all membership and are held periodically throughout the year.  At the Planning meeting we decide the yearly calendar, our fund-raising choice(s), budget, and any other issues brought before the board.  Please consider attending the next meeting – we are always looking for ways to serve our members better.  Plus, you will get the inside look at the inner workings of our non-profit.

SPECIAL EVENTS
In an effort to provide assistance to all age levels, T-POTS has established a format of workshops for parents of infants, toddlers, and pre-school children.  Social events are also held so that the fathers can meet each other and form friendships within the club.

Some of the events the children are brought together through the club are an annual family picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, and Holiday Party, and various others with T-POTS providing refreshments, games and entertainment.  If you are interested in hosting an event, please contact the VP of Programs.

This is a great opportunity for twins and triplets, and higher order multiples to share their uniqueness with others who truly understand them. At the same time, older and younger singleton siblings of multiples will meet others in the common situations they may face when the attention is directed, not surprisingly, toward the multiples in their families.

Club members cross all social economic, racial, ethnic, educational, and religious boundaries.  We have one common denomination and that is that we are all parents or grandparents of multiples.  We have one common goal, and that is to help each other.

PLAYGROUPS both the TINY TOTS and TEENY TINY TOTS are scheduled by the coordinator(s) and posted in our montly newsletter and reminders are emailed to the club.  TWEENS outings are also posted in the newsletter and on yahoo groups.
