FUND-RAISING AND PHILANTHROPY

COMPASSIONATE KITTY FOR T-POTS MEMBERSHIP

T-POTS has successfully raised money to pay for membership dues for families facing tough financial times.  If you know a family that would like to join or rejoin, but needs assistance, please let the President know.  This special fund has been created solely thru the donations from other members.  All requests will be kept confidential.  For more information, contact our President.  Or if you like to donate to the “kitty”, please let the Treasurer know that the funds donated are specifically for that fund.      

FOMOTC SCHOLARSHIPS
Annually local member clubs of the Florida Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (FOMOTC) participate in a variety of philanthropic endeavors.  Eighty percent of the funds raised are presented to a charity selected and voted on by the FOMOTC membership.  Twenty percent of the money raised remains with the FOMOTC, which funds the scholarship program.  In 2003, FOMOTC created a scholarship program to assist primary caregivers of multiple birth children the opportunity to apply for a one-time scholarship.  Each applicant is required to complete an application and essay.  The number of scholarships available are based on the amount of funds raised that year.  Each applicant is eligible to receive up to $500.00.  The applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee selected by FOMOTC.  Each applicant must be in good standing with their local club to apply.    If you are interested in this benefit of membership with T-POTS, please email tpotsfomotc@yahoo.com or visit FOMOTC for more information.
